If the input has 17 frames it is likely to be the wrong type of
acquisition. Usually T1-weighted structurals have only a single frame, or
maybe 4-8 if it is a multi-echo acquisition. What kind of data did you
acquire?

It's not an issue of compatibility. The tkregister2 executable doesn't exist in
whatever version you're sourcing when you run tracula. As far as I can see, it
should be there in both the stable6 and dev versions. Any chance that something
went wrong when you built the dev version on your system
