Hi all
I can't get freesurfer to strip the skull properly, even with a water
threshold of 1%. There is still so much skull (csf) remaining that a
manual edit is not doable. Is there a way to preprocess the anatomical
scan to correct this? ( I tried a water threshold of 0% although I'm

Hi freesurfer developers
I'm working with freesurfer's subcortical anatomical labels. I
understand that they are based on a database of manually labeled
anatomical scans, which were normalized to the MNI template in order
to get probability maps, that freesurfer uses as prior information. In

Dear freesurfer list
I know similar problems have arisen before and I have read the archives.
e.g.

however I'm still not sure how to solve my problem s
so, what I'd like to be able to do when I'm working remotely and each
redraw takes ~10-15s, is: load everything I need (curvature, labels,
change label colors, overlays, ...) and only redraw once when
everything I want is on the picture.
some superfluous redraws in any case:
- when I click right t
the server?
