Hi
I am not sure my last query below was circulated to the list. If
somebody has an answer it would be great.

Subject: Correlating two surfaces
Dear All
Dear All,
I would like to correlate two surfaces with glmfit e.g. thickness and
curvature but I don't seem to be able to find any document explaining
how to do that.
Could you please point me in the right direction?
Thanks

Dear All,
A paper comparing freesurfer hippocampal segmentation to manual tracing
in a large middle-aged population was published today in PLOSONE and may
be of interest to this list.

Hi,
Where can I find the protocol used to segment the hippocampus in
freesurfer? I am comparing manually traced hippocampi to fs segmentation
and I am interested to know whether differences are due to the protocol
used or other factors. Thanks

Hi,
I am analysing structural data with mri_glmfit. After pre-processing I have
first used one group variable (gender) with one covariate age. I had no problem
processing the data and visualising it in tksurfer.
I then tried to add another covariate (measure of immediate recall). So I had

Hi Nick,
Yes, I am using the 64 bit fs. I will try your fix and keep you updated. Thanks

Hello,
I would like to visualize subcortical structures, particularly
the hippocampus, in 3D. Is there an available function to display a glass brain
with solid internal structures and/or is it possible to extract this
information from the freesurfer files? If yes where could I find the
Dear Freesurfers,
I am trying to plan international travel for next

Hi,
I have to process more than 500 good quality scans (1mm isotropic) for an
epidemiological study and have limited time resources. Initial processing of 20
scans seems promising but I am new to freesurfer and therefore I am not quite
sure how significant small defects might be in the big
Hello,
Is it possible to coregister a combination of T1, T2, and Flair images to
obtain better results?
Also, is it possible to assess freesurfer's precision by processing separately
a T1 and Flair image in the same subjects taken at the same time and comparing
their measures?
Thanks

Hi
I need to process a large number of scans which could take
me a lifetime with my current worksation. I could have access to a linux
cluster of Itanium 64 bits machines. However, presently a distribution for
Itanium processors does not seem to be available. Is there a possibility to
