control points. It's not really a Siemens/GE issue as much as it usually
is reflects the receive coil sentivity profiles. Siemens has a "prescan
normalization" that works pretty well that runs a scan to map out and
correct for t

it depends on whether the frontal regions in the brainmask.mgz have
intensities significantly lower than 110. Probably what you are seeing is
incorrect topology fixing which is usually due to incorrect segmentation.
The question is why is the segmentation incorrect.
