what is the actual problem? Most of the vertices will not have an
annotation because you are looking at an annotation of clusters from a
statistical analysis.

To solve this problem, upgrade your NVIDIA graphics driver. I'm not
sure what the source of this problem is, but I have seen it before, and
upgrading the driver seems to fix it.
