Hello,
I have been going through FreeSWITCH for quite sometime now. I would like to
develop my own SIP Client soft-phone in Java/etc., how do I start?. Will I
get any SDK/APIs for this.
Please assist.
Thanks,
Rex

Nice thing. I made similar one for Event_Socket (C#).

Yes, I'm working on CTI. We use a CTI application called WebAgent, but
it's TAPI-based, so we have to create a special DLL to make it work
with FreeSWITCH.

Thanks for explanation. It works as you

Hi
I have FreeSwitch and external application, which communicates to it via
event socket - listens for events for certain number and gives some
commands.
Is it possible for this application to control client softphones, for
example, make them answer or hold, using the event socket or other

There are no error messages - there's literally nothing with the other SIP
clients. Any client other than X-Lite (which causes my Netgear router to
reboot incessantly) fails to register; X-Lite would work like a charm if it
weren't for my router. Also, it may be useful to know that X-Lite's first

Okay, I did that. I first ran it using X-Lite (which does connect on the
second try; the first one always times out) - there was lots of output. When
I tried it with Zoiper, YakaPhone, and Adore Softphone ... nothing. They
just time out.

Thats not the problem..
Phone registers to freeswitch has 192.168.0.100 in the sip packet...
FS sends a challenge back to 192.168.0.100 which obviously will FAIL
cuz that network isn't anywhere near the VPS box...
Go to the FreeSWITCH box and type "sofia profile internal siptrace on"
and
SPI disabled. There's no obvious option to disable SIP ALG, but NAT
filtering was changed from secure to open. Problem still persists.
