João Mesquita,
Could check with Jeremiah or contact me through, so I talk to him about the
forum?
He could redirect the domain to my hosting server and we can put there the
wiki and forums and we can communicate!

I'm with Anthony, the sub-domain idea is nice, I wish we could find a way to
do internalization in our wiki in a easy/elegantly way.

I think we strongly lean towards using a sub-domain (if necessary) and
maintaining other language content in the same wiki in alternate
pages. If the wiki software we are using is not effective to create
multiple languages we should find a way to do it all in one. We can
set up an
If we find a better wiki software that does internalization in a better way,
I could help porting the documentation over to the new software.
The sub-domain idea is also very nice.

We could also do this for a better documentation.
1. Pick a new wiki engine that does internalization/translation easier.
2. Set some documentation guidelines from the start.
3. Move stuff over to the new wiki.
4. Start with the translation/internalization on the new wiki.

Instead of adding million of different domains for the languages, it would
be nice if we only keep wiki.freeswitch.org, and the wiki software provides
a list of languages to choose from.
Then when we click in one of the languages we have the wiki translated to
the desired language.
I believe if
Take a look at this for instance:
http://wiki.rubyonrails.org/start
This uses DokuWiki, check the langauges option at the top (en, de, el, es,
fr, etc) and when you click one of them it translates the actual page to the
desired language... I'd love to have something like that.
Diego
On Sat,
With sub-domains you'll need to start all over and it will be a pain to keep
the documentation in-sync.
With a wiki that supports real translation it's easier to add a new line
with the translation tag or whatever.
