Weird... I just committed the exact same changes to the tvguide and it
didn't complain. But thanks... there were a myriad of minor problems
due to the completely new event handler and I was having fun crashes
all day. I finally sat down to fix most of them and you beat me to
most of them :)

Aubin, I have just committed your suggested fix here. Also there were
some other things broken, mostly related to event name changes (SELECT
