[Freevo-devel] application menu

2003-11-03 Thread Ben Ford
Is it possible to define an arbitrary menu of external applications that can be executed from a menu with Freevo in it's current state? I am thinking something like an entry in the toplevel menu (the one that you see when Freevo first starts) that would take you to a menu where you could

[Freevo-devel] 1.4rc2 scheduling live TV recording

2003-11-03 Thread Wan Tat Chee
Hi, I'm playing with the live recording option (F6) in the TV menu, and discovers that it sets the start date/time to 1 Jan instead of the current/now() date/time. The end date/time is also chosen arbitrarily. This is due to the fact that I don't have XMLTV support and hence no xmltv info

This sounds very exciting. A windows based all in one ripper called 'gordian knot' has had a 'quality test' feature for a while. I wonder if its a possibility with this tool? what it does is encode a short duration of the film and analyse its 'compressability' rate, so it tells you if your
