While integrating freevo to geexbox, I learnt how video thumbs were
generated, and I think this patch is worth reading.
It optimizes the generation through adding 2 parameters to mplayer command :
-nocache : to avoid the caching delay
-osdlevel 0 : to remove the timebar osd display
