I just stop playing via FREEVO ( s key ). It only happens when

The variants stuff worked, however the hang after playing the movie,
doesn't.
Again, using rc.post_event( PLAY_END ) before returning from
MPlayer.stop() fixes that.

It still ask for variants and still hangs on a black screen when quit
