Hi,

I just did some Audio CD extraction test this morning (In France :-) )

My test bed has two CD Drives : A DVD burner is in /dev/hdc and a CD
burner is in /dev/hdd (two IDE drives).

I put my audio CD in the second one, can listen to the music, audio
track information, all fine.
When I started a CD rip, nothing did rip. In fact, due to the log,
everything was very fast. (rip/encoding every second)

Digging further, it seems that the -s option of cdparanoia stop on the
first cd drive found, so as the first was empty, cdparanoia stop it process.

Using this line for the rip :
cdparanoia -d /dev/hdd 1 /tmp/1.wav
did the trick.

But I think that the support of two cd drives is still a little short :
During the extraction of the first audio CD, I put another (for my
tests) in the second CD-drive. Then, in the extended menu, freevo asks
me to stop the cd extraction :-)

Thanks,
