Just got my Freevo box up, and like so many before me I am
struggling with the ding-dang radeon 7000 card TV out.
My problem seems to be a little different. In my case,
the video will not sync (looks like a horizontal hold problem). This
happens during boot (text mode) and
I have sucessfully recomplied by kernal with the help of the wiki
documentation board, I've go the screen centered, and looking good when
running most apps in freevo (full screen mode). When I watch a DVD, or an

I have noticed this too and have done some experimenting with my LIRC config
file. However, I came to the conclusion that this a Freevo issue and dropped
the case. I use lirc0.6.6 and freevo.1.3.2-pre4.
I'll recreate my experiments below:
First, I created a small LIRC config file (lirctest) t
I am running sdl-ttf 2.0.6 and pygame 1.5.5 without problem. When I ran pygame 1.5.6
it broke. I'm running freevo using the gentoo ebuild, this is 1.3.2-pre4.
I just checked the gentoo runtime ebuild, it is building a patched sdl-ttf 2.0.5 which
is presumably static to freevo.
