Add the following to:
/usr/local/freevo/local_conf.py
DIR_AUDIO = [ ('Robs MP3s', '/home/stereo/mp3') ]
Make sure not to have the last slash after
/home/stereo/mp3

I just got the latest freevo up and running on my
redhat 9 linux box. I was just wondering if there was a way to improve the video
quality. I'm getting a flicker when watching tv or recorded stuff. It only
happens when there is movement on the screen. All these little white horizontal

I've played around with the new binary release (nice
work !) and encountered a few problems.

I tried to move the icons to the right side. Increased
'level' to 40 (mail), 50 (tv) and 70 (clock), but positions
didn't change at all.

This is in reply to the Shuttle XPC question.
I have a SV24 running a Cyrix 800mhz cpu and 512mb ram. For a tuner I have one of the Hauppauge WinTV PCI cards, bt878 chipset. The SV24 uses the Savage4 video drivers. Redhat didn't automatically setup the s-video, and I'm no good with X to configu

you have a chance? It'd really help to have a reference.

I had the same problem. For me, it turned out that my card/driver did not

the one that set the output to SVIDEO (I think this was it). Removing the
offending option got everything up and running for me.
Sorry I'm being vague

Not a question that pops up every day ;-)

and I still havne't got mysql working even after using a flat redhat8

Yes and no. To add new keys, you have to change cmds_sdl inside osd.py
(this should move to freevo_config.py some day). But p
