I downloaded release 1.3.4 recently -- I was surprised to find there was
no mplayer included. As there is a dizzying array of dependancies for
mplayer depending on output formats (and I would like to support the
expected formats, DVD, DivX, etc.) I found when I compiled it standalone,

all my media on fat32 partition so that it can be readable in Windows and

I'm Linux newbie and would like to ask probably simple question. I have
installed Freevo, mplayer and tvtime. I left settings more or less in
default state. I get TV screen displayed (same with mplayer and tvtime) on
half width with two halves of pictures one in another. I'm running

compatible file for Freevo. This file has been sucessfully used in some
other XMLTV compatible applications, but not under Linux and Freevo. It
