Hmm. When Dischi moved the files to its own heading, he must've
skipped it. There are some other python wrappers (for ao, ogg, vorbis,
etc) that weren't moved either.
I'm restoring the files to 'freevo-deps'. However, I'm curious as to why

You can browse CVS, it should be under the runtime subdirectory.
I've made a copy in contrib/rpm, which should be the same file with a
different name.

What is the log message when that happens?
Can you pleae post the contents of your /etc/freevo/freevo.conf?
Also, do you see messages regarding version mismatch for your

I am having some problems with Freevo. I'm using the latest version and
could not find rpm for python-twisted, but only the source rpm. It doesn't
extract properly to regular rpm in Mandrake 9.1 for me. I have extracted it
as a folder, but am not sure where to put it.

I boot into X and freevo (without windowmanager). In the xinitrc I have:

Hi,
Just for info, you can't add a cdrom and a pvr-350 card at same time in a

nope as I am not even looking at the mpeg4 hardware decoder. the video

this allows me to use mplayer and get the hardware acceleration out of the
