I have less luck with TVTime then with Freevo/Mplayer. It just gives a
blue screen with no input available on /dev/video0
Which is the same location Mplayer is finding the G400 at.

Have you looked at tvtime? I've considered using this as the main source
for tv viewing since from what I've read, it's compatible with the G400tv.
