Can you look around for more errors in the recordserver log? Hopefully
we can see where it is failing to create it properly.

I downloaded the Freevo Runtime tarball and attempted to untar it. Here

Actually, I have previously tried that; however, the file,
record_schedule.xml, is always recreated with size=0 and the looping error
message never stops!

10 box. However, the recording server never starts successfully. Every
minute, the output below is written to its logfile. It appears to be
