Hi. Does your minimal sarge include an X server? If so, I guess you tried to start freevo in a X session. Could you post here some error messages? Only with that is not enough. Alberto no there is only the textconsole. how can i install X-Server? -

Again i have question, to install freevo on my minimal Debian Sarge 2.6.8 (just from netinstallation cd) i apt-getted freevo and "installed" it (simply used the configuration dialog) the i tried to start freevo by typing in "freevo" but after a lot of errormessages it says: "no outputdevice f
