I am currently building out a new Freevo box. One of
the changes I am considering is swapping my PVR 250 for a PVR 500 so I
can have dual tuners. I have seen that some folks have the 500 working
in Freevo, so I am not too worried about that. I am, however, concerned

RPM packages for Freevo 1.6.0 and mmpython 0.4.10 are now available on
the Freevo Fedora Core 5 yum repository.
I've built lcdproc-0.5.1 as well for those interested in using Freevo

Thanks for the replies, It looks like teh culprit is a bad dvd drive.
I will swap that out later and see what I am getting.

lsdvd is still required for mmpython-0.4.10 and so freevo-1.6.0.
