Hi, I'm new on this group and on linux. I would like to make a media center with freevo. Which distro is good for freevon and which type of installation do I do? If any would help me step to step to install freevo or know a tutorial online for this. Thank. Paolo --

I'm having a bit of difficulty getting Freevo to install cleanly on CentOS 4.4 (Redhat Enterprise Linux 4 clone) and have also tried Fedora Core 6. I keep tripping up on the dependencies. The system is a quad core opteron 285 machine with 2gigs of memory. The OS is installed on a RAID 1 arr
