I have a Noritake VFD. With LCDd and the following settings it's pretty
easy to use it with freevo.
Driver=hd44780
ConnectionType=Winamp
Port=0x378
Size=20x4
Of course you have to activate the LCD plugin within local_conf.py
(plugin.activate('lcd')).
