I have now a decent Linux Box : P4C 2,4 GHz (Hyper threaded, I think I
read something about that), 2 Gb ram, fast hard drive, a GeForce 6600 GT

I am registered in linkedin.com and i just discovered that there is a
MythTV group. For people that do not know linkedin, it is a social network
