+ 1.4rc2).

Well actually it's just because my xmame version doesn't support the
"-modenumber 6" option. Removing it in the freevo_config file resolved the
problem.

That worked. Nowow it's freevo that's crashing when trying to play, but
i can see the list of the roms.
Is there any doc on how to use xmame?

The CDs are not mixed mode. With your script i get 100 when i put an audio
CD , 101 when i put a data cd (data, mp3, divx) and 105 when i put a mixed
mode.
For the audio only CD i tried with "By the way" from the Red Hot Chili
Peppers and several others.
