Wpow, your doing better than me, i can't get mplayer (or better yet
anything) to play on the tv yet.. Directfb works fine on the VGA1, but
the tvoutput i just can't get working..
Did you find any test apps to get it working? Or did you just use

I'm having problems working our what is the current mode for lircd. I
know lirc is working as irw gives me the output for my remote.. hoever,

I have tried editing the config file /etc/freevo/l
In the locan_conf.py file there is a setting for USE WID, turn it off..

Search this list or the devel lisst for the lateest path to get SDL
working, the patch you have used is old, and I don't think you will get
any support until at least your using the latest patch.. as per the
documentaiton on the wiki..
