mplayer plays movie and audio files just fine but doesn't seem to be able to get input from my TV tuner card. (This is the last thing I need to finish before finally getting this thing into my living room.) Has anyone else had this problem? It looks like it sees the tv signal OK. Below is what

I have both cable TV and a satellite dish (so I can watch German TV) and would like to record some shows off the satellite, as most of the good ones come on at strange hours. Given that the signal comes in on channel 3 via the VCR loop, I imagine I could just add a channel 3 with the specific info

Hello, freevo is cool. My Tivo pals are jealouser, will be as soon as I get it configured. I just built the box with RH8 and all the latest freevo, mplayer, tvtime, and xmltv stable builds. I can watch TV with TVTIME, but not with Freevo (which calls Mplayer). When I choose a show to watch
