I have a Logitech Cordless Rumblepad currently set up as the joystick to use
on freevo. I have no idea as to the button mapping for the DPAD, but the
default directions are on the left joystick. Is there anyway to find out the
mappings for the DPAD -> JOY_CMD?

What is used to play audio items? I would like to play live RealAudio streams,
and have Real Audio codecs
(http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/realaudio/media/r1live.ram) embedded with
win32codecs. I've tried adding the stream url into the FXD and that refuses
to play.
BTW I got the issue of slow menu

Nope, I am using a Logitech cordless rumblepad 2 to navigate the menu. I'll
check how well the keyboard works later today. However, freevo (1.7.6)
frequently hits points where it won't respond for minutes even with the
keyboard.

I fixed the issues that I had, I think this is a symptom of an documentation
issue:
1. Xine's configuration file had the PVR plugin disabled.
2. Xine did not have built in support for lirc, thus taking no-lirc out passed
