Try using the latest version of the ati drivers (8.10.19) and the latest
mplayer version (pre6a?).It could be a driver problem, or faulty hw. Does the
card get hot when
this happens? Have you tried another disp mode in mplayer? (I used VESA
with my old ati card, and the util atitvout to activate

My TV-Guide is very slow (2min+ changing menu posistion)
I noticed a xmltv related error when running freevo cache:

mms is just the protocol used for transport of windows media or other
streams, afaik. and this is used in this example webradio fxd:

and streames video should work the same

Is there any way to get freevo to play mms streams?
I've tried using an asx file with the url to the stream, but that didn't
work
(I think mplayer needs an -playlist to play asx files).
Would it be possible to add support for mms streams with fxd files, in
the same manner as webradio streams?
