V4L2 should work fine with any 2.6 kernel, do a lsmod see if bttv module
is loaded. Can you view TV outside freevo using xzwtv or tvtime?

Pygoom only works when freevo is run as root. Is there a quick fix? Also
pygoom does not function when listing to web radio, is it possible to
add this?
