when I enter a certain directory in my MP3 collection freevo crashes with:
s = image.load(self.coverfiles)
error: Unsupported image format
The directory which causes freevo to crash doesn't have any covers files.
I see freevo tries to open
/root/.freevo/vfs/Multimedia/MP3/crash-folder/
that's exactly I was looking for ... ;-)

I've had the same Problem.
My solution was to use nxtvepg.
First configured nxtvepg to fetch epg periodical.
Then I run nxtvepg as daemon (bash: nxtvepg-daemon)
When you configured it right, the daemon fetches
new data periodical. (I start this by an init script).

I know someone on the list was looking for info on starting freevo with an
MGA framebuffer. Put the following script somewhere, set the x bit on the
file (chmod +x /path/to/file.sh). After that

to work with freevo. I followed the instructions at:
