deal a matter of the tv, and not the video cards. I have a Thomson 28"
wide and observed a slight rotation of the picture. I then started to

I have tried both dxr3 (well actually some clone, but still same chip)
and nvidia GF4 mx440 with tv-out.
I would definitively recommend for going with the nvidia card. There are
several resons:

To run progressive scan (non-interlaced) video on a standard tv is not

Yes, it was getting the desktop to the tv I was trying to do without
success. Actually it worked just fine on "static" graphic. Movies though
need some hw acceleration that I did not get to work on the tv-out :(

As there has been a lot of discussion on tv-out lately I think it could
be appropriate with a short update.
Looks like the preferred card is THE Matrox G400 dh. The dxr3/hollywood+
gives good picture quality, but consumes unnecessary cpu on non mpeg1/2
material. The sad thing with both th
Version -pre4 works out of the box. Just set dislplay to dxr3 and rock
on.. at least worked for me.
However, sorry to disappoint you, but your system is way too slow for
any practical (movies) use with the dxr3. (Sadly know it because I
initially tried with an identical AMD). I currently run on a
