I think it was a problem with the lsdvd rpm from Mandrake 10. It didn't
require libdvdread3-devel as a dependancy when installed. I removed it
installed libdvdread3-devel and then installed lsdvd (from source),
mmpython freevo and DVD's are now picked up fine.
