as a hack right now i Have DEFAULT_REC_EXT added to the config file to set the ending if you don't want mpeg. As to the automatic thumbnailling. right now no. The fxd is written before the recording even begins. You will have to wait until the event on recording ended has been added to recordserver

Is there a way to automatically make a thumbnail for each show you record? Also, when the fxd files is created automatically, it uses mpeg as the file extension when I save all my files with the avi extentsion. Anywayt to fix that? Or will I need to start saving the files with mpeg as the ex
