I would start at https://launchpad.net/products/freevo and click on "add
a bug report" in the portle

I found the problem when I wasn't getting sound control with freevo
under Ubuntu dapper.
mixer.py doesn't exists, but ossmixer.py does. seems like someone
changed over without updating freevo_conf.py.
Adding ossmixer instead of mixer as a plugin fixes this problem.
