Hi all,
Been working hard on the wakeup server, client and idlebar plugin for
freevo-1.5.4 and have made quite a few changed since the last release.
Changes include:
Using the power button on the remote to toggle the user suspend mode
Setting the nvram as early as possible to set the nvram so that other
methods of shutting down which call the shutdownfreevo script have the
correct time
Write a wakeup file into the freevo cache directory with the next wakeup
time.
Changed the order that conditions are checked so
playing and recording are detected first
suspended by next wakeup or by task come next
suspended by user come last
The affects how the idlebar plugin displays it's icons
Something else that is useful to do is change /etc/acpi/default.sh so
that the power event executes the shutdownfreevo script instead of init 0
