brad - is this using the opensource nv driver or the nvidia binary? have you seen the quality of a g400 running directfb (and mplayer -vo dfbmga) to compare? What model is the card - just curious as the nvidia ones have a wide range of tv-out chips - some are far better quality than others. Why

I use an nVidia TV-Out card (a cheap one) on my freevo box. I had been running at 800x600, but that's no good if you're dealing with playback of NTSC interlaced video. So I set myself to work to improve this. After a couple of days of trying different things, here's what I've come up
