Just wondering if anyone can give me some general advice, I have freevo
running and watch mostly avi's/divx movies. Lately after a system reboot
or shutdown the quality of playback is crap all files play but show alot
more pixals. I have mplayer recompiled for my CPU and have lots of cod
mplayer itself is working fine now, for some reason
freevo still wont find it... I think it is in
/bin/mplayer, is there only one reference to it in all
of the conf files?

I'm having trouble with mplayer, first off freevo says
it cant find it when i do ./freevo setup it returns
ERROR: cant find mplayer. i downloaded and installed
the graphical version of mplayer and have tried
playing mp3 files in it, and was successful. it wont
play .m4a files created on a mac, an
ame, like $#åäö@, etc..

To play m4a files, you need mplayer compiled with faad support; it's
not very common so you might not have it.

DO you have the win32 codecs?? It might be that is the problem with the AVI
files. Also, you might have to spec the mplayer command in the freevo_config.py
file
