The License covers any equipment capable of receiving TV signals, so even a
TV tuner card on your PC requires one. If you have a TV with no tuner (not
many around, but they exist) and you watch DVD on it you are fine.

as far as I know, if you have a telly, they consider you to be able to
recieve BBC, which means you have to pay.
I got caught once, and no matter what I tried, they still fined me. I tried
the old "I dont watch BBC..." but that just pisses them off.

I think that you would need a liscence for the Video recorder alone,
as it is classed as a colour tv,
I do not know if you can restrct the frequencies at which it would receive
channels, thus removing the BBC crap from it.

i've just noticed that despite the fact that i pay them 100-odd quid a year,
the BBC only show either shit programmes or shit programmes about how good
they think they are.
