Interesting set of *four* new Amazon products: http://news.yahoo.com/amazon-unveils-199-kindle-fire-tablet-kindle-touch-151224521.html
Kindle Fire (no 3G) for $199; Kindle Touch (no 3G) for $99; Kindle Touch 3G for $149; Kindle for $79. Notes: no camera on the Fire (tablet), but has a "split" browser: some computation on AWS/EC2 .. basically a proxy server I bet. It has 8GB storage but no SD card slot. So they really went low-ball to hit an interesting price point. Looking at the smaller tablets, I'd actually consider dumping a cell phone if it had a 3G capability and a phone app. But the no-camera is a bit of a problem. -- Owen
