Email is a poor medium for the kind of formating I suspect my desire for opinions, guidance and second opinions requires...
Having said that: It's no secret I've been ramming my head againts several walls, and thus find my self facing a extremely complex problem: How the hell do I even get started? How do I even articulate that it's no secret being a amiable countery bumpkin technomancer that I'm now (finally) done with a few certificates from SFCC- yet face a vast number of issues that I had thought DVR may be best equiped to deel with (I seem to be wrong), and the comunity colledge thus far has been hit and miss for job and career guidance they just say show to a fair. My Certs that I've finished are: Web Media and Game Design. I know only a little about UX, and as noted from my rants a little about "the adobe ecology" I know only a fraction of Desnmore the elder knows of programming- I don't know that I'd want to go into programming anyway as that seems to be a poor fit in addition to a saturated field. I don't know many people here- and the few I did boogied- It frustrates and borderline infurates me that it seems to be damn neer imposible to get a job in the ABQ/Los Alimos/Santa Fe metro area much less a career or life: Thus I thought I'd ping a massive list for some guidance and perhaps places I hadn't known about for the appropriate rescources: At this point I want to go for my masters, as that probably can only help: I know of UNM, but surely theres other schools I know of open universities and open course (course-era and what have you)- I haven't a clue how that works in practice What have others done to be a success here? Yes it's a massive set of pieces to a enormous puzzle and as I say I haven't a clue where to even start- I know someone that says just move- being on a fixed income that's also problematic as that can (potentially) burn up my meager savings ============================================================ FRIAM Applied Complexity Group listserv Meets Fridays 9a-11:30 at cafe at St. John's College to unsubscribe http://redfish.com/mailman/listinfo/friam_redfish.com
