Agreed. Also texts with explanatory photos and/or illustrations which
you want to see full-sized. But relatively little of my reading is in
that category.

for next to the computer. My screens are full all the time with other stuff.

bad the Springer site does not make everything available in epub format.

Frank,
Yeah, reading a pdf is also an obstacle for me. I will *read* a book but my
experience thus far has been to only use pdfs for reference.

Nick,
It does look like a good read, though your reminder is a good one. I wish
there were a decent app for predicting the value xyz information will be to
me, how well it will synergize with other experiences. OTOH, I know I would

Jon,
I found
https://link.springer.com/content/pdf/10.1007%2F978-3-319-29716-3.pdf on the
Springer List.
A collection of chapters on the "evolution of disease" written for
clinicians.
Looks like it might be worth the time, if one had the time for it to be
worth.

Ha! same. I wanted a physical copy of the AIP journal a paper of mine was in,
but I am not a member of any of the physical societies so it would cost me
$722.

Cool, more information overload :-). Also, I wonder how the authors feel
about this.
