With slightly different senders, yeah. A few are empty, some come with a little red x
(well, with an image which has to be loaded from the internet), and
some with just a single random character in the body. I have no idea
what they are supposed to accomplish.

yup...been getting quite a few as of late. Based on some quick googles, it
appears to have been around for quite some time not sure if it's some
kind of probe to see if my address exists..but they're annoying.

same stuff as you are mentioning, [EMAIL PROTECTED] etc

Looks like a typical spammer dictionary attack to me. I'm not sure
why Bill is getting a lot of these messages (perhaps Bill has a large
number of aliases, or the spammers are trying to avoid blacklists
or some other detection schemes).
