FVWM: The "window_ops_func", how do Move and Resize work?

If I click on the button at the left hand end of the title bar I get the "window_ops_func". The "Minimize", "Maximise", "Kill" and "Close" options do exactly what I expect (and what they say) but I can't get "Move" or "Resize" to do anything at all. Have I broken something or, if not, how are the
