FVWM: colorsets not working as expected

2014-11-01 Thread Perry Hutchison
I suspect there is something about colorsets that I don't understand. I am using fvwm 2.5.30 with Ubuntu 12.04. My ~/.fvwm/.fvwm2rc reads the stock Ubuntu system.fvwm2rc and then makes some adjustments. For the most part this works, but when I try to create a colorset 37 (which seems to be not

The way I understand your request, you are asking for Fvwm to un-minimize windows on a restart. That's the impression I got, also. Fvwm is supposed to restore windows to their previous state and position on a restart. Doing anything else is a bug. Perhaps the OP needs to put a command in

Recently fvwm stoped recognizing dragging with the mouse most of the time ... behaving as if I just clicked mouse instead of holding the button pressed while moving it. Any ideas who is responsible for this and how to troubleshoot? ... It seems that selecting text shows same problem ... My

Is there a more efficient way to associate the StartIconic style with a single Exec command? Dunno about StartIconic, but some apps (e.g. xterm) will accept a -iconic switch on the command line to start iconified.
