On my folks PC I have RH 7.1 installed.
(And of course, FVWM under Cygwin).
And guess what! Now they have made Winmodems working under
Linux!!
Do a search on Google and you will find it, I chose the RPM.
DonĀ“t waste your money on a modem, there are better uses.

If someone wants an experimental unstable, he already may use daily
snapshots or cvs. I would like to have 2.5.4

Well, I would use either
Exec exec xmessage '$v'
or:
Exec exec gdialog --msgbox "fvwm `fvwm-config --version`" 100 100

Hello, fvwm Friends,
My Problem is, the Pager has Labels.
Each desk has the Name Desk 0 or Desk 1 and so on.
But I don't want that.
I am loking at the Documents but nothing help me.
Can someone give me a tip or a little help?
Thanks your very mutch.
Suse Linux 7.3 and FVWM version 2.4.12
Hi!
How does one use the Conditional Commands to select a particular window ?
The only thing that I've been able to get working is WindowId, by explicitly

Key F10 A M WindowID 0x28e Iconify toggle
But I just can't figure out how to get it going us

something like this would perhaps do good:
Exec exec xmessage `fvwm --version`
or (for a more brief string):
Exec exec xmessage `fvwm --version | awk '{print $1 " " $

NOT pass the placement click/keypress to the applications?
I did find the Click... options, but those seem to apply to
mouse only, and only to 'Focus'. Or are they supposed to
work for placement clicks/keypresses as well?

Hello,
I'd like to run fvwm2 --version from my menu, and show
output.
Would I do this with using an xterm, or is there another,
better way of doing this?
Ideally, I'd love to have something that works like Identd:
when you click on the window it goes away.
thanks,
denis
