I've made a fix to FvwmProxy's use of Move and ResizeMove to properly
allow a window position change that would go negative.

This was used by ProxyMove, as well as group motion where I saw a problem,
but I'm not sure if it would affect the behavior you were seeing.
When you get a chance, see if this changes anything for you.
