This would be more of a reason to keep the EWMH features, as FVWM
doesn't belong to either DE, and therefore should be able to support any
application a user wants to use.

Personally think that abandoning support probably wouldn't make too much
of a difference, however if it's about choice and flexibility we should
attempt to support as much as possible.
