Hi all, I have a lot of security applications wich build logs. The logs can also come from UNIX free application. Today we have a lot of people who spend time to check the logs files. Each person is dedicated to a kind of log. Today I am looking for an application able to gather the logs files from different region and also different kind of log. This application must be able to issue a result by using an expert system. I don't want to do supervision or have alarms. I only want to do log analysis. Do you have experience with this kind of application ??? Wich one do you use ??? What are the positif points and the negative ones ??? I have been told that Patrol, Webtrends and Netsecurelog were good products. What do you think about these choices??? Thanks in advance. Guillaume.
