I have a PowerBook Wallstreet 233 and I wanted to hook it up to my
Audiovox stereo CD player, so that my computer's sound comes from my
stereo speakers and allows me to use the stereo as normal. I do have
a cord that looks like a two-sided headphone jack, which came with my

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. I've basically chalked it up to
gremlins.
For some unknown reason, it wasn't getting power through the AC and the
battery ran down. That's why I couldn't start it. I later tried another
battery and it was fine. So then I thought it was my power supply.
Slightly off topic for sure...
Has anyone attended a Dreamweaver or Flash Course offered by CompEd
Solutions. They offer these one day courses for about 150.00 a day on each

of you have attended these courses somewhere. I
Hi,
I bought a refurbished TiBook 550/20/DVD with a 1-year warranty from
SmallDog in January, and in the past couple of days I've noticed that
the previously silent hard drive has started making noise-a lot of
it. The drive remains silent for 30 minutes or so after the TiBook is
first started
My Posmo/400 9.0.4 freezes up each time I boot it after being left overnight
plugged into AC, but will boot normally if I force a reboot using
ctrl//power. Does anyone have any ideas on how to deal with this, or have
they had this happen to them before.

That was a bit my thought. An increasingly noisy drive is usually not a good

This minor annoyance has plagued me on and off for 6 months now on my
WallStreet, running OS 9.1. I don't know if it is PowerBook or general OS
related, but I thought I'd try this amazing list first.
I have 3 aliases in my Startup Items folder, but they do not get executed

Hello everyone. I have a Wallstreet 300/192/30. When I get a kernel
panic or something untoward happens and I have to restart, my machine
boots back into OS 9. Ack! I have OS9 on a separate partition. I don't
want to install it on my OS X partition and I don't want to repartition
and start over.
Are there any road warriors out there who have a favorite fax software
program for his or her PowerBook? I'm currently using AppleFax, which seems
to be unreliable. I've used STF before, but really didn't like it.
I was used to WinFax from my previous PC days. Anything comparable in the

I think we've seen the last of these drives at the sub-$60 price. Any
vendors that still have them--like OfficeDepot.com--are selling them at the
old retail prices (~200 bucks). As many of you have probably noticed,
several of these drives have shown up on ebay in the last couple of weeks,
Has anyone tried the Voelker Research speed bump for the 400MHz TiBook?
Apparently, by moving a jumper/ resistor from one position to another yields
a 500MHz TiBook from the stock 400MHz. I should be taking delivery of one
tomorrow, and would like anyone's experience with this, assuming anyone

Yes, there's the 5 CD changer on top, the controls in the middle, and
the dual tape decks on the bottom. The speakers are, of course,
separate.
I don't think you can make it do what you want. As I understood your
