Hi:
I have an iBook 900mHz and 700mHz. Why is it that the 700mHz shows 3:50 when fully
charged while the 900mHz always shows 2:50?
The 700mHz iBook has 128Mb built in memory, 512Mb sodimm memory added. It was
purchased in April 2003 as a refurbished iBook.

Faster processor uses more power, so the battery won't last as long???
:) Screen brightness will affect your battery life as well, as will the

Hello everyone, forgive me for the OT post:
I'm selling my 1 month old, 3rd generation, 15gb ipod. It's in perfect
condition and includes remote, FW cable, AC adapter, and dock. Have original
parts, box, instruction manual, and CD.
Everything is still SEALED except the cable and ipod.
OK, having assembled Disk Warrior, downloaded the Firmware update and
as many application upgrades, etc. and burned the downloads to a CD,
I was going to go for Jaguar this morning.

Having already upgraded (a while back) my OS to 9.2.2 it was with
alarm I received the error message
Pismo - Mac OS 9.2 - HP LJ2500L
I cannot get my Pismo to print to an HP USB laser jet printer.
I can see the printer in the Apple System Information panel
under USB devices, but setting it up with the Desktop Printer
Utility fails to display the printer.
Well, actually it did show up once, but
Have you selected it in the Chooser? Does the icon appear there to even
select it.
I have to select my printer (Epson C42UX) just about every time with
certain apps.

Nope, it doesn't even appear there.
I have tried my own Epson USB inkjet with the same results.
AND I have tried it on my other Pismo, same result ???
I had problems getting my HP laser to work with my Ti 400 OS 9.1.
The HP does not show up in the Chooser panel. If I remember correctly, the
instructions indicated it would mount under the Laser Writer icon..
If the HP is still powered on and plugged into the Ti when I shut down or
sleep the Ti
I wondered:
How does my GigE TiBook know to sleep? I've perused all Apple's tech docs
and haven't yet discovered the mechanism that induces sleep when the lid
is closed.

The other day I posted about my Pismo battery which had all 4 charging
lights on nearly 24 hours a day, and was very hot all the time as well. This
behavior had started about 2 weeks ago. Last night I turned off the computer
and left it off and unplugged overnight. This morning I called Apple Care

Have you checked to see whether there are Mac drivers available from HP?
HP's site, the last time I checked--which has been several years--is a
nightmare.
I just went there and found nothing.
